Today I found the strength and bravery to go for my visit to Modern Zen. I met with Rev Reckel. My first appointment with them was two days ago but I missed it by sleeping in. I was very tired but more than that I was scared. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Of course today I went early to the store. The appointment was at 10 but I left my house so early I should have been there at 9:30. However I had forgotten how to get there by making the mistake of thinking the center was right after the street Davie which instead was right after Griffen road. I had to stop off for a while and look for directions on my phone and I still made it before either of the two people arrived. I waited and began listening to one of Rev. Reckels recordings and when she arrived I noticed how her eyes were different from most people’s eyes. They had a light in them. She was the one who first called out my name trying to see if it was me. I answered her and recognized her from when I previously met with her and from online. We went in to the store and talked a little and I helped her take some candles in to the store. While we chatted about school and stuff and I spoke with her about if she sold any sage and she showed me three different sizes and forms that they sold them. I picked out the one which I wanted, which was in a bag, and placed it on the counter to purchase later. She asked me if I meditate regularly and I said not really I don’t know how to exactly. She began to arrange 3 chairs and I chose one to sit in and we started to meditate. She guided me through it and as we were meditating she spoke of in a way that was so kind and nice and eloquent that I must love myself and others. She didn’t outright say this to me but I interpreted it from what she had said. She began to speak of the Archangel Michael, the protector, and Archangel Rafael, the healer, and how they are always there when I need them and how we are never alone. She began to channel Yoganda with whom I recognized in a way. He is me and I am him. He is a teacher of mine who is always there watching out for me and teaching me what I need to learn. I was told that I must research his works as they are my works and what I read will resonate with me and I will know it as truth and will be enlightened by it. I will continue his work and become even greater and do greater than he did because this time I am living in is a time where many people are being awakened and many need direction and I will help these people and lead them on the right path as I was lead on the right path.
Rev. Reckel is a very nice lady and so is Linda whom came in to the store in the middle of the meditation with her two dogs who were so cute and nice. One was the mother and the other was the son. Linda told me of how she was raised catholic and about her first experience with rev Reckel and how she won a free reading and that’s how it all began. She told me how frightened she was the first time. Lol. She was joking so much about how she was hearing a man’s voice and then another one and how she was by the door and like if she was ready to run out of it. Lol. She is really funny. I am very glad I had the strength to meet with them today.
